Does popping pimples cause more to appear around it?

Asked: Does popping pimples cause more to appear around it?I had moderate acne for a couple years, and over the past 4 months it was very cleared up. Recently I am getting some again.. I attribute it to college starting and the stress. But I have been popping my pimples and noticing more. I am trying to relax and stress outless, but I wanted to know if popping them is a common cause for more to come up around? I wash my face after I pop them every time.Thank you

Answered:It will irritate them and cause them to bleed get scabbed or bigger and when it heals your face will be scared
