Losing weight while on birth control?

In the past five months, I have gained 10 pounds. I am 5'2 and used to be 100 pounds, and back then i thought i needed to lose weight. Now I'm 10 pounds heavier and it freaking sucks, I'd do anything to drop the weight I've gained. Is it possible for me to lose the weight WITHOUT going off the pills? I know by going off the pill I'll drop the weight, but I can't do that because I'm scared of how badly
