I'm no doctor, this is just what I've been told. Roaccutane is a strong drug that gets rid of acne in almost every case, in my case I'd be taking it for about 6 months, I'll hopefully finish early September if all goes well. There are serious side effects eg extremely dry skin, eyes, mouth, lips etc, joint pains (1 in 20), depression, hair thinning and liver/cholesterol problems, they are the main ones, there are very rare symptoms too. I actually wear contact lenses so my dermatologist said that I will have to get eye drops, and may actually have to stop wearing them,
