Why does it burn when I apply foundation or nightcream?

matt Asked: Why does it burn when I apply foundation or nightcream?The last two days when I put on night cream or foundation my face burns. The burn wears off after a couple minutes but the initial feeling is unpleasant. My face is a little dryer then usual but its happened before and this hasn't happened. Its the same cream and foundation that I have been using and never had any problem with. The only difference is I started using the Oil-Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Facial Cleanser by neutrogena.
